- Smart Controller Unit for Heat Pumps: Designing a cloud-connected embedded platform using C++20, CMake, and Python for configuring and deploying HVAC servers and HMI devices in heat pumps. Led the development of a scalable architecture, presented feature proposals, and actively engaged with engineers and stakeholders during multiple workshops at the Germany HQ.
- Automated testing of Fire Safety Panels: Developing computer vision scripts using OpenCV2 and Python for automated testing of wall-mounted Fire Safety Panels. Also, maintained 3D simulations in Godot and GDScript to generate inputs for the vision script.

Research Engineer (May 2019 - May 2023)
- Smart Displays for Boiler Control Systems: Maintain C++20 codebases for boiler control systems on ARM Cortex-M, Linux, and Windows targets using CMake 3.15+. Lead design, implement features, and conduct test-driven development with gtest. Contribute to bash and python scripts for code generation, CI, CD, and docker images. Innovate IoT integration for remote deployment via WAMP and asynchronous Python client. Valuable for WFH scenarios and customer demos.
- Innovation project on Modern Robotics: Led a three-member team in designing a Continuum Manipulator soft-robot for the Siemens Innovathon. Created simulations and prototypes using MATLAB, Simulink, and Python. Developed low-level drivers in C++ for Linux targets, utilizing Unix sockets and file-descriptors for the motor controller. The prototype secured first position in the innovation category, securing funding for further development in mechanical design, electronics, and multi-body simulations.
- Simulation of Industrial Cobots: Developed a simulation toolbox for a high-precision open-chain cobot in collaboration with international teams. Utilized MATLAB and Simulink for high-fidelity dynamic simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing of the robotic arm. Created a rigid-body simulation framework using ROS and Gazebo.
Intern (January 2019 - May 2019)
- Impact of Magnetic Fields due to High Tension Transmission Lines on Multirotor Vehicles: Internship focused on the bachelor thesis project, "Impact of Magnetic Fields on Multirotor Vehicles". Modeled a dynamic multirotor, simulated sensor and state-estimation systems, and generated magnetic noise from high-tension transmission lines. Developed a mitigation algorithm for reconfiguring the state-estimation block in noisy environments using MATLAB and Simulink. Algo Trading Framework
Developing an open-source, python focussed Algo-trading framework that facilitates streaming of live and historical data from multiple sources. The framework includes simulation of option prices using the Black and Scholes model, enabling virtual trade on an offline portfolio for strategy validation before live deployment using Broker REST APIs and websockets.
Future plans involve training machine learning models to take option positions based on multiple market feeds.
